Terms for linking stores

1. What linking does
When you link stores, one store is the main store and leads the stock of the linked products. Stockwyn sets the available quantity of each linked product in a target store to the quantity of the main store — less the buffer you set, and at most the maximum you set — and books sales and other changes in a target store into the main store.
2. Your own stores only
You may link only stores that belong to the same business. Linking a store of another business — a supplier, a retailer, a partner, a customer — is not allowed. With your consent you confirm that both stores are stores of your own business and that you are entitled to act for both. The one exception is a demo store that the operator of Stockwyn provides for testing the app, for example for an app review: a test store may be linked with it for testing, and it is linked as soon as it has entered the demo store's code and consented.
3. Consent of both stores
A link starts only after the target store has entered the code of the main store and consented, and the main store has approved that store. For each consent Stockwyn records the time and the version of these terms — no name and no e-mail address.
4. What Stockwyn does not do
Stockwyn changes only available quantities of linked products. It creates and deletes no products, reads no orders, and reads and stores no customer data.
5. What you decide
You choose the locations and products that are linked, and you confirm the preview before the first change. Please check the preview: the quantities you confirm are written to your stores. Other apps that change stock in your stores remain your responsibility.
6. Ending a link
Either store can disconnect at any time, without notice period. Disconnecting changes no quantity and deletes nothing in Shopify. Removing the app from a store disconnects that store's links.
7. Your data
You can download the data Stockwyn has stored about your store at any time in the app (Settings → Your data), as a machine-readable file: links, locations, linked products, the last confirmed quantities, decisions and the log. Please download it before you remove the app: after the removal Stockwyn deletes the remaining data of the store when Shopify sends its deletion request.
8. Plan
The plan of the main store covers its target stores; a target store pays nothing for being linked. Without an active plan in the main store its links pause and nothing is changed in any store.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new version date. New links need consent to the new version.
